Slovenian lash competition is a wonderful opportunity to show your knowledge and skills in eyelash extensions, lash lift and eyebrow lamination. Your work will be carefully reviewed and evaluated by judges who are experts in this field. With the help of their ratings and comments, you will be able to improve your work. It is an event where you can meet fellow lash and brow stylists, create bonds and friendships.
Why has there never been a competition like this in Slovenia?
Because of the fantastic prize! Among classical awards for 1st, 2nd and 3th place, all stylists who are residents of Slovenia can compete for the title of the best Slovenian lash stylist. The three contestants who will achieve the highest total number of points in the eyelash extension categories will have the opportunity to represent Slovenia at the world eyelash extension championship in Turkey! This will be an exclusive competition where only three winners from each country participating in this event are invited. If you want to compete for the main prize, you must compete in at least three categories: classic, 2-3D volume and 5-6D volume. It is important that you have permanent residence in Slovenia.
Best Slovenian Lash Artist
The first place winner will receive: Free plane ticket (max value 600eur), accommodation in a hotel in Turkey where the competition will take place and the possibility to perform in all categories. And a chance to be a judge on our next competition.
The second place winner will receive: Free accommodation in a hotel in Turkey where the competition will take place and the opportunity to perform in all categories.
The third place winner will receive: Free participation in all categories at the competition in Turkey. All three will of course also receive a trophy and a certificate.
Grand prix
Since the Slovenian Lash Competition is an international competition, artists who are not residents of Slovenia will have a chance to win the Grand Prix award. To participate, you must compete in at least 4 nominations, the more nominations, the greater the chance of winning! The winner will receive a Grand Prix trophy, The CosmogGlo light and a chance to be a judge on our next competition.!
Lami Queen
The contestant who collects the highest total number of points in the lash lift and brow lamination category will win the title of Lami Queen. She will receive a crown and a chance to be a judge on our next competition..
Best lash trainer
Win the title of best lash trainer! Create a group of 3 of your amazing students or yourself and 2 students. You can compete in as many categories as you like. For each win you will get points (1st place - 15 points, 2nd place - 10 points and 3rd place - 5 points). The trainer whose group gets the most points will become THE BEST LASH TRAINER 2024!
Best judge
We are not stopping with awards yet. All participants will be able to vote for their favorite judge. Judge that will get the most votes will win THE BEST JUDGE of 2024 award.

When registering, you must provide us with a picture of the first certificate for the category you are competing in and your social media account to prove your level of experience.

Eyelashes must be painted either with black or brown paint
All eyelashes must be curled, they must not have glue or paint residues.
It is allowed to use products as you wish, it is important that the eyelashes remain undamaged and soft after the procedure.

The eyebrows must not have been previously treated, and the eyebrows must not be tinted or freshly shaped.
Durnig the procedure eyebrows must be tinted.
It is allowed to use the products as you wish, but it is important that the hairs remain undamaged and soft after the procedure.
You can use dye or hybrid color, henna is not allowed.
For removal of exces hairs you can use tweezers, thread or wax to remove excess hair, but you must provide it yourself along with the heater
Overall appearance max. 5 points (the whole look is assessed, all the effort you put into the look of the model, i.e. hair, make-up)
Symmetry max. 10 points (eyebrows must be symmetrical)
Direction max 10 points (hairs must be combed at the right angle, they must not cross each other)
Clean work max. 10 points (all excess hairs must be removed, without tint residues)
Shape max. 10 points (the shape of the eyebrows must match the features of the model)
Color max. 10 points (color must match skin tone and hair color)
Skin condition max 10 points (skin must remain undamaged, without redness or swelling)
Reduction of points (up to - 5 points for excessively processed or destroyed hairs, up to - 3 points for trimmed eyebrows)
Rules
Entry fees for the competition are non-refundable. After purchasing a category, it is not possible to change it, so double check that you have chosen the correct category and experience level.
A competitor who does not follow the rules will be disqualified. After registration is complete, we will send you a confirmation email within 48 hours. If you do not receive this email, please contact the organizer immediately as this means that your application has NOT been processed.
The organizer provides you with a bed and a chair. You must bring all other equipment such as light, work material, pillow, blanket yourself.
The participant must provide the model himself (he must be over 18 years old)
The participant must arrive on time, otherwise he is disqualified. During the competition, participants must follow the rules. The participant may not leave the competition area, speak loudly or listen to loud music. You will be notified 30 minutes before the end of each nomination to let you know how much time you have left. Once the nomination is complete, you must stop working immediately, you can no longer touch your model. Then clear your workspace and leave the room, if you are competing in the next category you can keep that space.
Models must remain in the judging area until all judges have checked the work. Please inform your models that the assessment may take up to 2 hours. Make sure your model has water and snacks.
Photos and videos of eyelashes can be used by the organizer in advertising the next competition and event.
Before entering the competition area, the participant must register together with the model, where she will be assigned the code under which she competes. Before the start, the judge will do an eyelash or eyebrow check. Participants have 15 minutes before the start of the competition to prepare the workspace. During this time, you can clean the eyelashes/eyebrows of the models, apply patches under the eyes, do mapping. However, you must not start applying eyelashes before the announcement of the start of the competition. If you start working before the start, the judge has the right to disqualify you.
The contestant must complete the entire work independently during the competition.
The participant must bring all her equipment and materials for work.
Contestants and models must wear outfit be suitable for the event. The clothes should be comfortable and at the same time business/casual, so it does not disturb their work.
